A culinary calendar at PW

We will be running a similar Courtyard Kitchen next Spring

On Friday 17 April, Texas style barbecue company Howard’s Meats came to PW as part of the Kitchen in the Courtyard events this summer.

The pop-up barbecue is run by Josh, who studied under ‘one of the best pit bosses in Austin (and thus the world)’. He brought his refurbished kitchen/horse box to make brisket, ribs, pulled pork and veggie chilli for Perseverance Works. The following week saw Le Swine cook on the cobbles, selling their posh bacon butties to hungry PW.

Both pop-ups were part of a wider programme of summer Kitchens in the Courtyard. Lots of lovely vendors will be setting up in the courtyard in the sunshine. The culinary calendar is as follows:

An East London interpretation of an American icon and cultural obsession, the Hoxton Cheesesteak for the London street food scene.

4 September: Howard’s Meat

11 September: Le Swine

A posh twist on the classic British bacon butty.

18 September: WonderBuns

Back again next Spring

An East London interpretation of an American icon and cultural obsession, the Hoxton Cheesesteak for the London street food scene.

Bon appetit!
