Ignite Film Camp

If you have some experience of filmmaking, the Ignite camp could be the one for you. You will be part of five small film crews, including a lead writer or director, a producer, cinematographer and sound recorder or editor. Industry professionals will offer masterclasses and mentorship, helping crews to produce a short film for the Sundance Ignite Film Challenge.

A great producer should:
  • Be creative: share the vision with the director and know how to get things done
  • Be a problem-solver: be good at thinking of creative solutions
  • Be a good negotiator: have the ability to get the best out of people and keep communication lines open

Eligibility
For the rest of the crew, the age range is 17-24. The crew must be free on 17-21 July, 24-28 July (working remotely) and 31 July-4 August. The crew form is here.

The course is free, and will take place in Eastside’s Shoreditch HQ.

Earlier this year, Works Post spoke to Eastside’s new chief exec and artistic director Matt Lane about developing partnerships and engaging the local community through architecture. Click here to read the interview.
