Tomorrow: vegan dinners in the courtyard!

Last year we wrote about Make Kit, a social enterprise that produces and delivers meat-free meal kits. The business launched thanks to the support of the Healthier Hackney Fund, which gives grants to companies trying to build a healthy borough.

Inspired by NHS Research into the biggest barriers to healthy cooking at home (including the perceived high cost of healthy food, and a lack of time and knowledge when it comes to cooking from scratch) the firm completed a successful pilot funded by the NHS and Kickstarter at the start of 2017.

Tomorrow, Make Kit will be joining us at lunchtime in the courtyard tomorrow to give us tasters of their best vegan dinners!

What’s more, if you set up an order for delivery at PW on a Tuesday at 5pm you’ll enjoy a 15% discount. Meals start at just £3.39 per plate.

Each meal contains at least 2 of your 5 a day, low in salt, sugar and saturated fats, and no additives or artificial ingredients. Even better, every kit sold helps to fund a meal for a family in need – part of Make Kit’s mission to make healthy food accessible for everyone.

See you in the courtyard!
